Red Scorpions

In acute antcipation of the Badab War IA9 from FW I have embarked upon a new project namely the Red scorpions. I particularly like their background and colour scheme. Above is a very early WIP model used to test the armour out mainly, the yellow I already had a fairly good idea about. The model is one of FW's new MKIV resin casts with a scorpion pad. Im fairly happy with the result thus far, but hope to post some further WIP shots and eventually a tutorial. I have also worked on a razorback, which needs some more work but I have already changed the tow rop using a length of picture wire.

Having finally decided on Alaitioc colour scheme I worked on this wave serpent in order to get the colour scheme nailed. The bone- or wraithbone was worked up using vallejo paints mixed up with GW's. I hope to paint another soon, and add some WIP shots.
Welcome to Wraithsight! a Semi-regular blog about my attempts to model and paint the best 40k models that I can, and not drive my wife or children mad in the process.
At present it is the bright colours and variety of models in the Eldar army that holds sway with me. But I do occasionally stray to the path of Imperium!
